Quilters

Quilters meet on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m.

We were blessed to have given a total of 170 quilts to various organizations inside and outside Smith County. Quilts were distributed to the following organizations: Children’s Advocacy Center; Tyler Fire Department; Tyler Police Department; East Texas Crisis Center; Hiway 80, who serves the homeless; and the NALC Disaster Relief Warehouse, which included quilts to victims of the historic flooding in the Texas Hill Country.

The OSLC Quilters meet every Tuesday throughout the year making quilts to be donated to various non-profit organizations. The group includes not only OSLC members, but volunteers from the Tyler community. In addition to making the quilts, the group enjoys fellowship and prayer time as they serve the Lord.
