Wednesday Night – “A Life Worth Leading”

Please join us for the last session of our Wednesday evening Bible Study at 6:30 at the

church. It is following the book “A Life Worth Leading”. The study is excellent, we’d like to invite all of our members to attend. Initially we focused this study on young adults but it has evolved into a “cross-generational” event. Please come and join us. A light supper is provided.

Welcome to Our Saviour’s – December 3

We will be offering a “Welcome to Our Saviour’s” session on Sunday, December 3 at 11:15. We will meet in the fellowship hall right after the worship service. Lunch will be provided and we will go over Lutheran history, Lutheran understandings, and an overview of activities at OSLC. The session will be informal with lots of time for questions and interaction.

This session is for people who are new to OSLC, and for long-time members who would like a refresher.

Discipleship Opportunities

We have two “discipleship opportunities” to keep in front of you this fall, both of which we talked about in worship the last few weeks. First, On Sunday mornings, when you come into the worship space and sit down, please take a few moments and pray. Pray for our service, pray for those leading worship, pray for God to fill us with His Spirit. Take a few seconds, or a few minutes, whatever works for you. Let’s intentionally have all of our members supporting our worship with prayer! THANK YOU.

Second, we want all of our members to have a Bible and a good study bible. There is a table in the church gathering space; on it are bibles, study bibles, and brochures to help with Bible study. If you don’t have one of these, please take one! We want all of our members reading the Word of God.

We have put together a survey which addresses a number of different areas of our life together. Our council would like the congregation’s input and insights. Please fill out the survey and return it in the box in the church entryway. There are additional survey’s available in the church office for those who can’t be here today.

High School Youth

Our High School youth are meeting on Sundays at 11:00, right after worship. Please come for the Sunday school, share in worship, and then stay for lunch and the youth meeting! Please call Brian Eng for more details!

Our Annual Children’s Christmas Tree Excursion

Join us on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. for our Children’s Sunday School’s annual Christmas breakfast and excursion to the Pine Tree CHRISTmas tree farm. We will have breakfast, a quick craft and then on to the tree farm to cut down a Christmas Tree for the Sunday school wing.
