ANNOUNCEMENTS, WEEK OF JUNE 24, 2018
Day Camp – June 25-29
This is the week for Day Camp! Day Camp is an expanded version of Vacation Bible School. We bring in staff from Lutherhill Bible Camp to lead our Camp. The staff will be college students, with a lot of energy and excitement. They will lead activities of praise, study, worship, arts and crafts, games, and all sorts of crazy fun. It is going to be a high-energy week and a week of faith.
This is the week, Monday through Friday. The Day Camp will be for students age 3 through the 6th grade. The camp will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 on Monday through Thursday and 9:00 until noon on Friday. For those ages 3 & 4, their day camp will end at noon each day.
Come and share, this is going to be great fun! Please be in prayer about this. Let’s have an incredible week of sharing and celebrating!
Blessing/Dedication of Sunday School Wing
We are beginning our worship service today on the Sunday School wing. Please meet there at 10:00. We will start our worship time with a time of prayer and dedication for all that has been done on the Sunday School Wing.
(If getting around is a problem, please feel free just to go to the sanctuary. Jaeyong will be playing a prelude; you can just wait for the rest of us to come. But for all who are able, let’s meet in the Sunday School Wing.)
Again we will have a time of prayer and blessing and dedication of all that has been done. We will spend about 10 minutes doing this. We will then go to the worship space for the remainder of the worship service.
Church Office Hours
Debbie Miller, our congregation’s secretary, is in the office on Mondays through Thursdays from 10:00 until 2:00. Please do call her with any questions or requests that you have.
Dates for the Summer
June 24 – 29 – Day Camp here at OSLC for children age 3 through the 6th grade

The Quilters are excited that they will soon have quilted wall hangings around the building. These will be for sale. If you are interested in any of these, please contact Linda Tumino or Helen Siebert.
The Quilters are always looking for new members. Anyone who is interested, please join us any Tuesday morning. We meet from 9:00 to 11:30 with a coffee break at 10:00. No experience is necessary. Only a desire to learn is required!
You are invited to a time of informal prayer in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings from 9:15 – 9:45 as we approach the throne of grace on behalf of the church, individuals, and the community. Someone will be available to pray with you, or you may pray silently concerning your needs. “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”
