In the NALC Walk of Faith app for Apple or Android devices, available in the App Store and Google Play.

AA Group at OSLC
We are excited that OSLC will begin hosting an AA group. Meetings will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at noon. For more information please contact Pastor Mark.
We started a visitation team in 2017. We have members that are calling on some of our shut-ins. It is a great ministry that is enjoyed both by the recipients and by the people who are doing it.
Pastor Mark would like to expand the ministry this year. Please consider helping out with our visitation team. For more information please give Pastor Mark a call.
Early FYI on Summer Camp at Lutherhill
Students in grades 4 through 8, we are going to Lutherhill again this summer. Our week of camp is going to be July 8-13. For more information call Pastor Mark.
If your student is planning to attend Lutherhill please give Pastor Mark a $100 deposit by March 11. (Checks should be made out to “OSLC:.) We want to be sure to reserve our spots. We will accept registrations after March 11, but we can’t guarantee that spots will be open.
Bible Study – A Passion for God’s Word
We are starting a new and exciting Bible study called “A Passion for God’s Word”. The Word of God is the most important possession of the Christian believers and it transforms our lives as we study it. We will cover the first five lessons over 10 weeks.
Our first lesson is “You and the Bible”. Basically, we cover the inspiration of the Holy Spirit in God’s Word, how the Holy Spirit continues to reveal God’s Word, and how the Bible becomes an open book to you. The other lessons cover the Anatomy of the Bible, a Survey of the Bible, the Tapestry of God’s Word, and concludes with the Authority of God’s Word.
With Lent upon us, we will begin the new Bible study on April 5, on the first Thursday following Easter. Please let John and Mary Ferguson or Chris Burris know If you are interested in joining us for this interesting study of God’s Word!
Get ready for an opportunity to clear your house of at least one of those things you “don’t know what to do with” (white elephant). Mark your calendars for March 8, 2018 at 1 PM at OSLC. Bring your white elephant in a bag labeled male, female, or either. We will have an afternoon of games primarily BINGO. Your white elephants will be the prizes.
Instead of a full luncheon, we will have dessert, coffee, and tea. We are asking for volunteers to help by bringing dessert. Celebrate St Patrick’s Day early with The Most Caring Primetimers in the World.
Again mark your calendars and do please note the time and format change. It promises to be an afternoon of much fun, laughter and wonderful Christian fellowship. There is no one who will intimidate you or nothing to obligate you, just great folks to welcome you, so give us a try and do bring friends. Hostesses for the afternoon will be Theresa Ford, Joan Schneider, and Marlen Curry.
We have a men’s fellowship group that meets monthly. This month we are meeting at the home of Ken Pontious at 14047 CR 468 Tyler. We will gather at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 10., Our gatherings include dinner, conversation, bragging, swapping stories, getting to know each other better. Guys please come and check this out. For more information, please call Bill Hebb, Blaine Davis, or Pastor Mark.
